A legendary, perpetually hip destination resort
Fontainebleau Miami Beach is truly enormous—as in 1,504 guestrooms enormous. The modern, tech-savvy rooms (all have iMacs) are spread among four towers: 846 rooms and suites in the two original buildings and 658 suites in two new all-suite towers. The entry-level rooms are fine, especially if you get an ocean view, but we recommend reserving any category of suite.
Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s history can only be described as glamorous. Designed by Morris Lapidus and opened in 1954, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach. The Fontainebleau was immediately a favorite of movie stars, and not much has changed.
