There are over 400 years of documented golf at Dunbar. Established in 1856, Dunbar Golf Club is located on ‘Scotland’s Golf Coast’ in East Lothian.
The true links course, redesigned over the years by the likes of Old Tom Morris, boasts well-defined holes which follow the natural contours of a narrow strip of linksland between the old red sandstone deer park wall and the rocky shoreline that are hallmarks of the links.
To play The Open qualifying championship links is to pit yourself against a course moulded by nature for over 150 years, it is to walk in the footsteps of some of the greatest golfers in the world.
