Hogs Head Golf Club has been created near the town of Waterville, on headlands standing above the Atlantic Ocean. The course is the first in Ireland designed by the RTJ II firm, and has been built on a sand-capped site and planted with three varieties of fescue grasses – all of which are native to the Irish coast. Holes eight to sixteen are routed along the edge of 100 foot coastal bluffs, while the course’s inland holes navigate the Finglas River.
