Nights of the full moon have always been considered a meaningful time to reflect, meditate and harness energy.
And there are few better places to contemplate a full moon than the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
The resort has announced a special series of yoga sessions and massages during the monthly arrival of the full moon for guests of the full-service resort on Puerto Rico’s northeastern coast.
The full moon yoga classes will take place at both 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the night of the full moon in the resort’s Casitas Garden adjacent to the full-service luxury spa in the resort’s Las Casitas Village section. The garden boasts lovely views out across the Atlantic Ocean and, weather permitting, should provide great views of the rising moon as well.
Guests can also book a special full moon massage which will occur at the Las Casitas infinity pool.
The 45-minute yoga class will cost $25 per person; the 50-minute moonlight massage runs $180. Full moon events are scheduled for Feb. 22, March 23, April 22, May 21, June 20, July 20, August 18, Sept. 16, Oct. 16, Nov. 14 and Dec. 14 this year.
